Submission Guidelines

We welcome submissions that contribute to the understanding and improvement of Environment management and health outcomes worldwide in the following formats:

  1. Original Research Articles
  2. Review Papers
  3. Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis
  4. Short Communications
  5. Case reports and Case series
  6. Policy Briefs

Formatting: All manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word written in Times Roman Font size -12. Following are the journal’s submission template. Please ensure that your manuscript includes:

Original Article

  • A concise abstract (200-250 words)
  • Keywords (4-6)
  • An Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion should be included
  • Figures, Tables, and Supplementary materials (if applicable)
  • Acknowledgments and additional disclosures (e.g., Conflict of Interest, Author’s contribution, Disclaimer, Funding, etc.)
  • References formatted according to APA style, not more than 80

Review Article

  • A concise abstract (200-250 words)
  • Keywords (4-6)
  • Word count not more than 6000 words
  • Figures, Tables, and Supplementary materials (if applicable) not more than 6
  • Acknowledgments and additional disclosures (e.g., Conflict of Interest, Author’s contribution, Disclaimer, Funding, etc.)
  • References formatted according to APA style, not more than 100

Special Reports / Case reports

  • These papers usually get commissioned by the Editors
  • The main text should not exceed 2500 words, and the paper should have no more than three tables/figures
  • References not more than 25
  • Acknowledgments and additional disclosures (e.g., Conflict of Interest, Disclaimer, Funding, etc.)
  • References, Figure Legends, and Tables follow the main text

Letters to the Editor

Comments on published articles, reports on problematic subjects, and negative facts that are of general interest or challenge widely held conceptions or theories will be considered for publication as Letters to the Editor. In the former scenario, the editors may invite the authors of the relevant paper to respond, after which both Letters may be published. An abstract is not required.
